Hi. Welcome to my About Me section where I intend to let you in on who I am and what makes me tick. Where do I start? I'm 33 years old and have decided it is time to stop working for other people and start working for myself. Novel idea, huh?

So what is it I do? Well, I like to think of myself as a modern day renaissance man as I am well versed in organizing and implementing birthday parties to after school classes to weddings and pub quizzes. If I am going to work for myself, then I want to do what I love, and amongst the many things I truly cherish are working with and teaching children, Scrabble, sports and entertaining people. Over the last 20 years, I have worked with children on many levels, be it as a preschool teacher, camp counselor and director, along with running after school enrichment programs.Furthermore, I have entertained at birthday parties and conducted 1-on-1 coaching and tutoring.

In addition to the sports programs that I have offered to children, I have also attempted to pass along my love of Scrabble and other games to them through my strategic games after school program. I have been a competitive Scrabble player for years and have always loved games that challenge the mind. They can be fun and educational.

Along with a fondness for teaching, I have a yearning to learn in general and love learning interesting new facts. Some would even say I am the “king” of obscure facts. This wealth of useless knowledge that I have accumulated over the years suits me well as I routinely host weekly quizzes at bars/pubs all over Chicagoland. Not only do I organize parties and quizzes, but I am also an ordained minister? No really, I am. I have performed a couple of weddings and truly enjoyed the experiences so much that I would love to do others, if and when the time comes.

Besides working with kids and birthday parties, playing Scrabble, running a bar/pub quiz, marrying some happy couple, you can probably find me taking a professional acting, voice training or Improv classes or on a softball diamond or football field officiating a game.

In a nutshell, I think it is obvious to both of us what it is that all of those aforementioned ventures have in common; I am always entertaining people, and love doing it, so why not try and get paid for it?
